 How to create a Report and backup files
 
Introduction
 
This Tech News will explain how to create a report and how to backup your configuration, CNC files, and ICN files.
 
CNC7 v6.00+
 
To backup your configuration, CNC files, and ICN files follow the steps below. In v6.00 Intercon was know as GGE.
 
            Insert a blank floppy disk into the control
            Press F7 – Utility
            Press F3 – Backup
            Press F1 – Config (this will backup your configuration files)
            and/or
            Press F2 – CNC (this will backup your CNC files)
            and/or
            Press F3 – ICN (this will backup your ICN files)
 
Note: For CNC and ICN files, you can select files by pressing the F1 – Toggle button or the Spacebar. If you would like to backup all files press F2 – All. If the CNC and ICN files are large, they may not fit on 1 disk and will require multiple floppy disks.
 
To create a report file follow the steps below.
 
            Insert a blank floppy disk into the control
Press F7 – Utility
            Press F7 – Report
 
CNC10 v1.10 – 1.15
 
To backup your CNC files and ICN files follow the steps below.
 
            Insert a blank floppy disk into the control
            Press F7 – Utility
            Press F3 – Backup
            Press F2 – CNC (this will backup your CNC files)
            and/or
            Press F3 – ICN (this will backup your ICN files)
            Press F1 – Toggle or the SPACEBAR to select individual files
            or
            Press F2 – All to select all files
            Press F10 – Accept
 
Note: If the CNC and ICN files are large, they may not fit on 1 disk and will require multiple floppy disks.
 
To create a report file follow the steps below.
 
            Insert a blank floppy disk into the control
Press F7 – Utility
            Press F7 – Report
 
CNC10 v1.25 – 1.51
 
To backup your CNC files and ICN files follow the steps below.
 
            Insert a blank floppy or USB device
Press F7 – Utility
            Press F3 – Backup
            Press F2 – CNC (this will backup your CNC files)
            and/or
            Press F3 – ICN (this will backup your ICN files)
            Press F1 – Toggle or the SPACEBAR to select individual files
            or
            Press F2 – All to select all files
            Press F10 – Accept
            Use the arrow key and highlight either A:Floppy or B:USB Device
            Press ENTER to activate the floppy disk or USB device
            Press ENTER again to backup the files to the floppy disk or USB device.
 
Note: If the CNC and ICN files are large, they may not fit on 1 floppy disk and will require multiple floppy disks.
 
To create a report file follow the steps below.
 
            Insert a blank floppy disk or USB device
Press F7 – Utility
            Press F7 – Report
            Use the arrow key and highlight either A:Floppy or B:USB Device
            Press ENTER to activate the floppy disk or USB device
            Press ENTER again to backup the files to the floppy disk or USB device.
 
CNC10 v2.30+
 
To create a report file follow the steps below.
 
            Insert a blank floppy disk or USB device
Press F7 – Utility
            Press F7 – Report
            Use the arrow key and highlight the Destination Directory
            Press ENTER to activate the highlighted Destination Directory
            Press F10 – Accept to backup the files to that Destination Directory.
